This will be a new (but hopefully shortlived) page. It will feature prominent people who have basically been a thorn in our collective sides in relation to our plights to keep Eddie's name and great work alive. Our first honoree will be the president of ASCAP, Marilyn Bergman. She has consistently ignored our requests to have Eddie honored for his contribution to popular music with his co-writing of one of the most played songs of all time--MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG (The Warner Brothers cartoon theme.) He also introduced more songwriters and ASCAP songs than any other person in radio and popular music in his day. Marilyn Bergman couldn't care less. She has her awards. I suggest you write her and tell her how you feel as she continues her arrogant silence. If everyone who reads this wrote her, she would feel it. It's your duty as Eddie's loyal fan.
